5. Electronic Signatures and Legal Validity

ZumaVerify's electronic signatures are designed to comply with applicable electronic signature laws, including:

  • Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN)
  • Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA)
  • European Union eIDAS Regulation

You acknowledge that electronic signatures created through our platform have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.

You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload to our platform. We will:

  • Process your data only as necessary to provide our services
  • Implement appropriate security measures to protect your data
  • Not access your documents except for technical support purposes with your consent
  • Allow you to export your data at any time

7. Service Availability and Support

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We provide:

  • 24/7 technical support for enterprise customers
  • Business hours support for standard plans
  • Regular system updates and security patches
  • Advance notice of planned maintenance

8. Pricing and Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. You agree to:

  • Notify us of any billing disputes within 30 days
  • Accept automatic renewal unless cancelled

9. Limitation of Liability

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZumaVerify from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your access to our services will cease
  • You may export your data for 30 days
  • We will delete your data after the retention period
  • Outstanding fees remain due and payable

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
